Heritage House Tour Highlights San Marcos Homes

For 32 years‚ the beautiful architecture of San Marcos has been highlighted during the first weekend of May.
The 33rd annual Heritage Home Tour will take place May 3-4‚ 2008‚ with at least eight historic houses on display for the public to visit. The Heritage Association of San Marcos sponsors the event.
The self-paced tour occurs from noon-6 p.m. each day‚ with homes on exhibit that were constructed during time periods ranging from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s. The styles of the homes on tour are also diverse‚ ranging from Queen Anne and Pioneer Craftsman to Victorian and Greek Revival.
Ticket prices are $12-$17‚ depending on when they are purchased. The full list of homes on the 33rd annual tour will be tentatively announced by April 2008.
